The New Frontiers Charter School was founded on the simple convictions that a first-rate education is the birthright of every individual, that all children can learn, and that every child should be challenged to reach his or her full potential

Vision

The School's founders aim to help set the standard and pace for public school reform in Texas. The School will be a beacon to the community-proof that, for less resources expended in the city's regular public schools, every child in San Antonio can be afforded a public education equal to the very best in the world. Representative of the city's great diversity, the School's graduates will be prepared to participate fully in the economy and society of our future.

Curriculum

The approach to curriculum at New Frontiers Charter School is twofold: a traditional academically enhanced component and a component that provides for self development as well as character development of the student.

The New Frontiers Charter School provides a learning environment that contributes to student success by encouraging parents to play an active role in decision-making, character building, and providing a home environment that encourages academic success.In turn, the school will provide a rigorous curriculum, effective and supportive teachers, and state-of-the-art materials and technology to ensure that we are on the cutting edge and that your child receives the greatest benefit.

Intervention

New Frontiers evaluates every child to determine if they are need of extra help in any given subject on an on going basis to evaluate the need for intervention. Once the need is discovered an action plan will be set in place assist each child to reach his or her objectives.
