Reading logs

Reading logs will be going home with students on Fridays.  Students should be reading (chapter books, magazines, newspaper, or something that interest them) for 20-30 minutes daily (more is good)  and writing a short summary of what they read.  Once they have completed daily reading, parents must sign the reading logs daily.  All reading logs are due on Fridays.  This assignment is counted for two grades (reading and writing).  Please ensure that your child is reading.  Students are allowed to check out books from my library and the school library.  No excuses for not reading!
