kinderpic.jpgAs a recent graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio, I am very excited to start my first full year of teaching at New Frontiers Charter School.  I am a native San Antonian and grew up right around the corner from our school. My family includes my husband: Darren, my two daughters: Madeleine and Ava, and too many pets to name. I am looking forward to a successful, fun filled year of learning.

exploring.jpgI will be starting my second year as a Kindergarten teacher for New Frontiers. My classroom theme is adventure and exploration. The reason for this theme is so that children can begin to approach all subjects in a positive and exciting manner. The hope in doing so is to instill/plant a passion for learning and knowledge and at the same time provide a very strong and rich foundation for all subject areas.

This will be my third year teaching Kindergarten at New Frontiers Charter School. I look forward to a new and fun-filled year! I believe every child is a gift and each child is special and should be valued. All children deserve an education in a learning environment that is nurturing and exciting. I also believe the education of a child is in the hands of both the parent and the teacher. We should support one another to help our children reach their potential.
