Polyvision PDF Print E-mail
Written by Webmaster

polyvision.gifNFCS purchased new Polyvision Interactive Walk and Talk Whiteboards and RM Easy Teach software over the summer and many of our teachers have gone through the training. These boards will enable the teachers to get active participation in the classroom with the children and will help increase learning retention levels dramatically.

All children learn in different ways and New Frontiers is adding new dimensions to it's approach to educating our children. We currently have one polyvision board per grade level and plan on adding even more.

Currently, one of our teachers is making strides in helping other teachers implement this exciting new learning tool in the classroom and the kids really love using the boards!

Written by Stephanie Smith

art.jpgNew Frontiers Art department is designed to increase student awareness of the different kinds of art.  It gives students a wide range of experiences and helps them to appreciate the art around them.  Most importantly, it lets them know that there is no wrong way to do art.  Some of the art lessons involve painting, drawing, pasting, sculpting, coloring and folding.  The art curriculum gives the students the opportunity to express and observe art.

I have been teaching art at New Frontiers for six years and I look forward to another year with the creative students at New Frontiers!
