This is my 3rd year at NFCS teaching both 3rd grade and 4th
grade. However, this year, I am an ESL teacher. I assist
Ms. Trevino in Kindergarten, Ms. Palomino in 1st grade and Mrs. Hunter
in 2nd grade. I assist students in the classroom and with
small group tutoring. I integrate teacher's lessons so that it is
mirrored and students can be successful.
In case you wanted to know about me
personally, I am from San Antonio. I graduated from MacArthur High School,
went on to San Antonio College, Our Lady of the Lake University, then
Georgetown University in Washington D.C. where I earned my Master's Degree in
Public Policy. I have worked in Maryland, Virginia, and in Washington. While I loved living in
beautiful Virginia for 4 years, I missed San Antonio and all my family and friends. I have 3 adorable children ages 10, 7
and 2. My favorite sport is basketball. Go Spurs

I will be starting my third year as an ESL teacher for New Frontiers. My classroom theme is adventure and exploration. The reason for this theme is so that children can begin to approach all subjects in a positive and exciting manner. The hope in doing so is to instill/plant a passion for learning and knowledge and at the same time provide a very strong and rich foundation for all subject areas.
