The English as a Second Language Program at New Frontiers Charter School works with all students identified as English Language Learners.
The objective of the program is to insure that our ELLs acquire proficiency in the English language at the same time that they are receiving content-based instruction. We coordinate with all general education classroom teachers and are in constant dialogue regarding student well-being and academic performance.
We recommend appropriate teaching strategies as well as facilitate small group instruction based on individual student needs and language proficiencies.
