My name is Susan Rivera. I am the 5th grade science teacher and am fortunate to be working with an amazing, highly motivated team. This will be my first full year of teaching at NFCS. I began teaching at the end of last year as an intervention teacher.
As for my stats, I am married with 2 children. Both of my children have attended NFCS, one is still currently attending and the other has moved up in grades. I have lived in San Antonio all my life and graduated from UTSA. I have 2 spoiled cats and 1 hyperactive dog. I am trying my hand at gardening with mixed success. I love to read and recommend it to everyone I meet.
I am looking forward to this year. Our students are very excited about the experiments we have planned. This is going to be a wonderful year!
