math1.jpgSeventh grade math is challenging, but fun. We are going to learn many new concepts. This coming year we will also be using graphing calculators in certain areas of study. This will enable eighth graders to get ready for high school. We will be learning pre-algebra and algebraic concepts. I have high expectations of the students. We did well on the TAKS test last year and am expecting greater results this year.


This will be my fourth year at New Frontiers Charter. I have taught in Edgewood ISD and San Antonio ISD. I love mathematics and hope to instill a love of that subject to my students. Wish you a restful and enjoyable summer because we've got plenty of work coming your way.
